A beautiful blend of Puget Sound AVA Siegerrebe and Madeleine Angevine grown in Whatcom County, WA. These grapes come together to complement each other like good friends do.

Harvest Notes
Siegerrebe was picked at 20 Brix with a pH of 3.41 and a TA of 7.5. It was fermented in stainless steel using a non-sacc strain of pichia kluyveri known for its thiol production. It was cold crashed over winter for clarity.
Madeleine Angevine was picked at 18 brix with a pH of 3.06 and a TA of 9.9 and fermented with thiol producing pichia kluyveri in a neutral oak barrel. It was put through a secondary ML fermentation and aged on the lees for 5 months.

Bottling
Blending components were assessed and the final blend (70% Siegerrebe and 30% Madeleine Angevine) was mixed together to produce 12 cases. The bottles were filled by hand, corked, labeled & wax dipped in the spring of 2023.

Tasting Notes
This white wine gives off aromas of stone fruit and grapefruit. On the palate it is delightfully dry and refreshing with captivating minerality alongside subtle notes of creamy honey and lemon rind.
