Bleeding Heart Rosé is a still rosé blend of spontaneously fermented 2023 Mourvèdre (75%) and Siegerrebe (15%) and Chardonnay (10%). The Mourvèdre grapes were picked October 7th & crushed, destemmed and soaked the same day for 16 hours before pressing. This short time on the skins yielded a beautiful salmon colored hue. We blended a bit of the Siegerrebe to enhance the floral aromas on the nose and the Chardonnay to soften wine on the palate. It is a full bodied rosé with bright acidity. Pair with aged hard cheeses and herbal dishes or enjoy a chilled glass in the afternoon sun!
This wine is 13.3% ABV and made 100% of Washington State fruit.
